The 2854 PCI Integrated PC Server contains a 200MHz Pentium Pro processor, four main storage slots and two LAN IOA slots. This adapter requires two reserved PCI card positions, one for the processor card and the second for a bridge card to interface the processor to the system. #2854 comes with a special cable that converts the connector on the back of the bridge card to industry-standard keyboard, mouse, serial and parallel connectors. Each memory card slot can contain either a 32MB or 128MB memory card producing a total memory capacity ranging from 32MB to 512MB. At least one memory card is required. Memory Features are: #2861: 32MB IOP Memory, #2862: 128MB IOP Memory. Each LAN IOA slot can contain a PCI Token-Ring IOA, PCI Ethernet IOA or PCI 100/10Mbps Ethernet IOA. The Integrated PC Server can support two IOAs in any combination with a maximum of one 100/10Mbps Ethernet. At least one LAN IOA feature is required. LAN IOA Features are: #2723/#9723: PCI Ethernet IOA, #2724/#9724: PCI 16/4Mbps Token-Ring IOA, #2838/#9738: PCI 100/10Mbps Ethernet IOA. Each LAN feature also requires a separate specify code: #0220: Token-Ring on IPCS is required for each #2724/#9724, #0221: Ethernet on IPCS is required for each #2723/#9723, #0222: 100/10Mbps Ethernet on IPCS is required for each #2838/#9738. If running NT operating system on #2854 then A minimum of 64MB is required
#0325: IPCS Extension Cable for NT is required, #1700: IPCS Keyboard/Mouse for NT is default where offered. A display must be connected to the IPCS to support NT. If running OS/2 operating system on #2854 then #0325, #1700 and a display are not allowed. If running Novell NetWare on the #2854 then Maximum of 256MB IOP memory is supported.
