What is the difference between buying new and used AS400 equipment?

Essentially, used equipment is no different than new AS400 products.  However, in this competitive global economy our products offer tremendous cost cutting benefits and do not sacrifice performance.

What kind of warranty does Data Tech provide?

All equipment is warranted for 90 days.  This is ample time for you to arrange the equipment for a maintenance agreement.

Is the equipment that Data Tech sells eligible for IBM maintenance?

Everything we sell is guaranteed eligible for IBM maintenance.   

What is a CPW?

IBM has created a standard by which you can compare all models.  This standard is known as Commercial Processing Workload (hereafter CPW).  CPW is the measuring tool used to compare AS400 system performance.  Our systems can often outperform new systems at a fraction of the cost.
